Why should I care about twitter? Developing your own personal learning network.
“Do you roll your eyes when someone urges you to go on Twitter? It’s too easy to ignore Twitter and to dismiss EduTweeters (educators who tweet) as a group of ego-driven shit-disturbing techies – with way too much time on their hands – spewing 140 character snippets of ‘technobabble’.” (CEA Max Cooke).
In this session we will take a look at some things educators currently do with Twitter to foster their own, and others, professional growth. We will also explore some possible ways to develop your own PLN, and learn the basics of how to use Twitter.
